There seems to be a shift in awareness about the value of plastic. In recent years, the focus has been on plastic reduction. Products, such as plastic cups have become increasingly thinner. However, this has not contributed to the users’ sense of value and makes products look and feel less valuable.
With our Cup2ReUse range, made entirely of polypropylene, we offer an attractive alternative to disposable cups.
PP or polypropylene is an environmentally friendly option on the market.
With our waste-free products, we are going to make full use of the valuable material that plastic actually is, and give it multiple lives. We want to keep reinventing ourselves as an organization and focus on circular thinking and acting.
Our reusable and recyclable cup for hot beverages is available in two sizes. We also offer single-use lids for both sizes and reusable lids for the largest size.
To increase the strength of the cup for hot beverages, we designed it with EcoCore skin-foam-skin walls to reduce material use and boost thermal protection. The foam provides thermal insulation to keep beverages warm for a longer time. The cup is well-insulated on both the outside and the inside. The excellent insulation properties ensure that our conventional cup is easy to hold when it contains coffee at 70°C.
The cup comes in four standard colors: white, red, blue, and flecked gray.
We also offer other color and branding options.
PACCOR’s reusable and recyclable cup for cold beverages is available in three sizes. The cup is made of polypropylene and is therefore lightweight, non-breakable, and fully recyclable.
The cup for cold beverages is mainly available in a transparent color. It is easy to customize with a logo for brand visibility. We also offer other color and branding on request.
The biggest advantage of our waste-free polypropylene cup is, of course, its reusability. When comparing a reusable cup to a single-use cup made of alternative materials, one must consider multiple environmental impact factors. These include cleaning systems for reusable cups and the life cycle waste of a single-use cup.
Our Cup2ReUse is made of polypropylene, also known as the “steel” of plastics. Polypropylene or PP is generally considered a “tough” or non-breakable material with low density. This makes it a very lightweight material and thus reduces the ecological impact of our cup.
Furthermore, the food-certified material is flexible and can withstand extremely high and low temperatures.
By reducing the weight of our materials and possibility of using bioplastics, we ensure that the ecological impact of our cups decreases over time. Furthermore, through our innovations in oxygen barriers, we can offer our customers ecological alternatives to tin and glass.
With in-mould labelling (IML), a pre-printed polypropylene label is placed in the cup mold. When liquid polypropylene is added, it fuses with the label, producing a cured and solid cup.
